Powerful techniques within EMDR 2.0: EMD bomb, Flash 1.0 & Titration Techniques
In this webinar, Ad de Jongh and Suzy Matthijssen will demonstrate how two of their EMDR 2.0 special techniques - currently applied in their intensive treatment programs—can be used to treat patients with severe and complex PTSD. A key focus will be on overcoming the ingrained avoidance patterns of patients who are too fearful or reluctant to begin trauma-focused therapy.
Participants will learn how to apply a wide range of memory-taxing tasks (such as fast eye movements and spelling tasks, see also the webinar Online EMDR 2.0 or workshop EMDR 2.0 basic course) alongside powerful methods like the “EMD Bomb” and Phil Manfield’s “Flash” (version 1.0). Step by step, the presenters will illustrate these EMDR 2.0 applications, as well as titration techniques that help patients maintain processing, both in face-to-face sessions and in online EMDR therapy.
Intended audience: Therapists who have completed the EMDR Basic Training & the EMDR 2.0 basic course
